In the past , i’ve always been very introvert . I try my best to talk with other people , even though , i always have hard time on talking initiatives .
You know what , my overall elementary school experience was the worst , i was constantly been critized for being too quiet and was treated as if it was some kind of disease that needed to be fixed .
Not to mention the recess time , it was horrible . During that time i encounter with lots of people , however there was one thing common on literally every third person , it was the look of worried and pity towards me for not been able to socialize more .
So today , I just wanted to bring up some facts and some major points on Extrovert and Introvert —
I’ve heard lots of people saying that , “ you need to become an Extrovert , cause being an Introvert won’t help you in long run” . Well , I totally agree with this fact , that you need to become an extrovert in order to thrive in today’s world .
However , In order to make them an Extrovert , you just can’t force them to participate in group activities . What they need is an emotional support , not some mental stress.
So, the main purpose or the reason of bringing up this topic is to Let Everyone know that , You need to stop treating introverts unfairly .
You see , most of the time even in the classroom , an introvert can go unnoticed , especially when the most talkative or popular student runs the show . And well i’m pretty sure , some of you might have even experience it , well i have.
So naturally this forces to raise the question — is the most frank or vocal person , the one , with the greatest ideas or he/she just talks a lot ?
you see the society always choose the “ man of the action” and that’s why introvert people and also whole humanity lose lots of people who can make world better place . In some studies it is shown that introvert leaders often delivers better outcomes that extrovert do .
Because introvert leaders are likely to let those employes run with their ideas , whereas , an extrovert leaders can , unintentionally , get so exited about the ideas they are putting in , and because of that , they don’t really give much importance to others ideas .
So basically what i’m saying here is that , you need to give equal attention , equal support to introvert just as equal as give to extrovert .
Unfortunately , it’s not their fault but , most teachers , are not trained to notice or understanding the personality difference .
You see , even today most educational system still judges students based on social skills , test scores , class participation and this is where there is an unfairly advantage for extroverts and unfairly disadvantage for introverts .
Some famous introvert personality are : The co-founder of Microsoft , Bill Gates ; The Writer Of well known book Harry potter .
